- The box is a modern reproduction of an original box. The accoutrements shown are all period originals -- cleaning rod, tin with percussion caps, brass powder flask, bullet mold, nipple wrench, package of six ready to use black powder paper cartridges with bullet.
- Production of the Colt 1851 Navy Models began in 1850 and ended in 1873.
