Beautiful examples of the Circle of Wedges and the Circle of Hearts Fancy Cancels often seen on USA covers of the 1850's and also on Union Civil War period covers. However, these types of cancellations were never used in the CSA and are not found on legitimate Confederate covers. Even though the addresses are period and the stamps are genuine, the fancy canels are not.
