13 OCT 2015 -- During the
weekend of 9-10 OCT 2015, the Confederate Stamp Alliance met Asheville,
North Carolina for the annual Mid-Year Gathering. Guests from the North
Carolina Postal History Society were also in attendance. Click PHOTOS

- An active trading room composed of major dealers in
CSA material saw much high level material change hands.
- Formal presentations —
- "The Philatelic Forensic Laboratory at the National Postal Museum" by Tom Lera.
- "CSA North Carolina Provsionals - A Matter of Opinion" by Tony Crumbley.
- "Newbern, North Carolina Postal Service during the Civil War" by Maurice Bursey.
- "CSA Advertising Covers" by Larry Baum.
- The traditional CSA Hospitality Room was sponsored by Schuyler Rumsey Philatelic Auctions.
- The meeting closed with a wonderful dinner at the Stone Ridge
Tavern with approximately 45 members and guests attending. Thanks to

Galleries for sponsoring the dinner wine and drinks.
