CSA #4 Stone 2 Position 49 USED (4-Margin but close at the left center) tied to small piece by a partial strike of the Sumter SC CDS 17 MAY (1862). Interesting stamp. Below the design are three horizontal lines easily seen which should not be there. They may represent random printing flaws, or they may suggest that this is a possible misplaced transfer. Since this is a single stamp, it is not possible to confirm a possible misplaced transfer. The stamp needs to be in a multiple to compare the positions of the adjacent stamps or have a sheet margin not compatible with the plated position.
