CSA #4 Vertical Strip of 4 Stone 3 Positions 2, 12, 22, 32 (margin tight at the top but clear on the other three sides) USED tied to small piece by two full strikes of the Chattanooga, Ten CDS 3 JUL (1862). Strip pays double weight rate just two days after the rate change. The piece is blue lined notebook paper and comes either from a folded letter or an adversity cover. The stamps have a little edge staining and some minor faults. This is a showpiece item that could be the centerpiece of a Stone Lithograph collection or a major piece in a General Issue collection and can easily be exhibited.
