 CSA #2e Paterson Stone Y Horz Pair USED (margin a little irregular at the lower right and a little light gum toning Milky Blue) affixed to small piece with a socked-on-the-nose Austin, Tex small double circle CDS 7 APR. The piece has a silk lined back which is from a silk lined envelope used at the time for money letters. The Scott Catalog lists but does not price a Stone Y pair as used multiples of the Stone Y are very scarce. The new CSA catalog values a used Stone Y pair at $1,200.00 plus a 200% premium for a Texas cancel. Light pre-affixing crease at top right.
