Memphis, Tennessee Mid-Year Gathering
9-10 SEP 2016

16 SEP 2016 -- During the weekend of 9-10 SEP 2016, the Confederate Stamp Alliance met in Memphis, Tennessee for the annual Mid-Year Gathering. Guests from the Memphis and Tennessee Postal History Society were also in attendance. Click PHOTOS to see some pictures from the event. Hosts for the event were Jerry and Sandra Palazolo.

• An active trading room composed of major dealers in CSA material saw much high level material change hands.
• Formal presentations —
•  "New Orleans Provisional Stamps" by Mike O'Reilly.
•  "Understanding the Census of Stampless Provisional Covers" by Frank Crown.
•  "The Sultana Tragedy" by Jerry Potter, the author of the book of the same name.
• The traditional CSA Hospitality Room was sponsored by Jerry Palazolo.
• The meeting closed with a wonderful Memphis barbecue at the home of Jerry and Sandra Palazolo with approximately 50 members and guests in attendance.

CSA Generals in attendance were – Gen John Kimbrough, Gen James Monroe, Gen Tony Crumbley, Gen Trish Kaufmann, Gen Frank Crown, Gen Jerry Palazolo, Gen Rex Felton.
