Orange paper cover addressed to Henry St Geo Harris, Diana Mills, Buckingham (County) (Virginia). Advertising Cover with a large illustrated shield cameo in Black and White "H. M. Smith. Manufacturer & Dealer in Agricultural Machinery. No 14 Main St. Richmond, Va." Two farm machines illustrated in the advertisement. The addressee, according to the Federal Census of 1860 and the Federal Slave Census of 1860, was a wealthy planter in Buckingham County who owned 54 slaves at the time.
