Beaver Dam Depot was a station on the Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac Railroad in Hanover County. From the well-known Franklin Davis, Staunton, Virginia Correspondence. The signature at left "W. C. Winston" is in the same ink and handwriting as the postal markings and would indicate that the sender was the Beaver Dam Depot postmaster. Very Fine.
