CSA #1 Stone 1 Position 24 (Margin a little close at right center) tied by the BLUE Charlotte C.H., Va CDS 29 MAR (1862). Orange paper cover addressed to Mrs. Cynthia B. T. Coleman Care of Dr. Charles W. Coleman, Williamsburg, Virginia. Dr. Charles Washington Coleman (1826-1894) of Williamsburg, Va married Cynthia Beverly Tucker in 1861. During the war, Dr. Coleman had service with the 3rd Va Cav and later with the 5th Va Cav. There is no enclosure, so the sender of the cover is unknown. Very Fine.
