CSA #1 Stone 2 Position 12 (margin just in at bottom left) and CSA #4 Stone 2 Position 24 (4-Margin with part of the adjacent stamp visible at the right and a little edge gum toning) tied together and to the cover by a somewhat smeared strike of a small BLUE double circle CDS which is consistent with Portsmouth, Va (date not apparent). Addressed to Mr. J. L. --- (cannot identify the last name with certainty because of the handwriting), Warrenton, Warren Co,. Ga. Nice two color combination use paying the 10c rate. Adversity Cover made from an unused lined Ledger Sheet. Small reduction at the right just into the bottom line of the address. Signed “Dietz” on the top back flap.
