Full strike of the Richmond, Va CDS Powell Type 6l 3 AUG (1864) with the Richmond Handstamp “FREE” Type AA. Addressed to Postmaster (the word “Postmaster” is printed on the cover), Jonesville, Lee Co, Va. This is a very coarse paper oversize cover with a very clean overall appearance and a very light partial crease at the right.
