Stampless PAID cover with the Bonham, Tex (Fannin County) CDS 8 NOV and manuscript "Paid 20" (overweight) and manuscript "O.B."
(Offical Business). The Bonham "Paid 20" is listed in the new CSA
catalog but is an "Unsupported" listing. This cover certainly supports
the listing. This is an oversized cover and would certainly account for
the double weight postage. Addressed simply to the Citizens of
Farmersville, Texas (Collin County). No idea what may have been the
contents of the cover. This is a Turned Cover with the inside use with no CDS or other postal markings except for a manuscript "Paid" (no
rate) and addressed to Benj H. Epperson Esqr, Clarksville, Red River
Co., Texas. Cover does show wear and is opened on three sides. There is
a small edge piece missing from the top right not involving the CDS and
not at all distracting. Still quite a presentable and interesting cover
with a scarce rate from Bonham, Texas, which supports the unsuppoted
listing in the new CSA catalog.
