Advertising Cover with the stamp is affixed over a dark blue oval cameo advertising corner card (upper left) for “Williams, Birnie & Co. General Commission Merchants, Hayne, Anson and Church Sts Charleston SC.” Addressed to William T. Birnie Esq., Greenville SC. The fact that the stamp is affixed over the advertising may indicate that the company was no longer in business. Very Fine Advertising Cover.
