The is a red bordered front and back high quality personalized ladies stantionery sent by Mrs. Ruth L. Nesbitt to her husband. Her initials “RLN” are embossed on the backflap as a fancy monogram. This type of high quality ladies cover is a significant rarity in the Confederacy. Captain Thomas Nesbitt was in Georgia state service.
