CSA #12 (KB) (margins close left and right) tied by the large single rim Charleston SC CDS 20 JAN (1865). Addressed to Mrs A. A. Norris, Vances Ferry PO, Orangeburg Dist SC. A little minor water staining and a small piece missing from the top back flap. Still an attractive cover with 1865 use about 4 weeks prior to the Union occupation of Charleston on 2/18/1865. Ex-Kohn.
