Munroe Esq, Macon, Georgia. The addressee was the wife of Comdr John M. Kell CSN who was the Executive Officer of the CSS Alabama. However, the address is not in Cmdr Kell’s hand. N. C. Munroe was Mrs. Kell's father. Part of top back flap missing due to opening. Still a very clean cover and an exceptional brown postmark. $200.00
