CSA # 2 Paterson Stone Y (affixed sideways 4-Margin but a little tight at the upper left and with a surface abrasion at the lower left) tied by the BLUE Columbia SC CDS 1 FEB. Semi-Official printed imprint at the upper right "State of South Carolina, Adjutant and Inspector General's Office. OFFICIAL BUSINESS." (CC S-SC-10). Addressed to Mr. N. Daniel, Mine Creek PO SC. Top back flap missing and some minor edge and wear hole repair work which is largely unobtrusive. Scarce item as the Stone Y stamp is not cataloged on a government semi-official imprinted cover. Unsigned Van Dyk MacBride note on the back.
