Adjutant and Inspector General' Office, Official Business" Semi-Official Imprint (CC S-SC-11). Military Address to Lt G. A. Follin, A A" Genl (Assistant Adjutant General), Sumter SC. Original short official letter included requesting Lt Follin return to the office on Monday and signed A. C. Gallington A & Insp Genl SC. The two identified officers would have been in South Carolina state service. Military records from South Carolina are notoriously sketchy. Top back flap missing, otherwise a very fine cover and letter.
