CSA #12 (AD) (4-Margin but a little close at the left) tied by the small double circle Charleston SC CDS 24 JUN 1863. Addressed to Miss Nellie Wise, Churchville, Va , Care Mr A. D. Trotter, Staunton, Va. "Important" at top left. "Lochwillow" at bottom left. Not sure what "Lochwillow" refers to but there is a Presbyterian Church in Churchville named "Loch Willow," and there was a school at the time in Churchville called the "Loch Willow Academy." Churchville and Staunton are quite close together in Augusta County. Very clean cover. Ex-Brian Green.
