Stampless Soldier's Due 10 with the Grahamville SC CDS with manuscript "Due 10" 10 MAR. Addressed to Mrs. Geo Allen, Diamond Hill, Abbeville Dist., So. Ca. Period writing in a different hand at the lower left "Mrs. N. Partridge" of unknown significance. Endorsed at upper left "Soldiers letter Ashley Dragoons." Ashley Dragoons refers to a company in the 2nd South Carolina  Battalion Cavalry Reserves. A little edge wear at the bottom and a small edge repair at bottom center. Still a very clean appearing cover.
