CSA #11 (AD) (4-Margin and affixed upside down) tied by the small double circle Chester CH SC CDS which appears to be distinctly struck in a red-brown color. but is more likely to be a somewhat degraded black. Addressed to Messers Morrison Gaither & Co., Eagle Mills NC. This company was a cotton factory in the 1860's. Wallpaper Adversity Cover with a gray and white linear geometric type pattern which is displayed very well with the left lower corner flapped up. PF Certificate from 1985 which mentions the red-brown postmark. Very Fine.
