to Mrs. Stephen Elliott, Camden, S. Carolina. Small part of back flap
torn away. Still a clean and very fine appearing cover. The addressee, Sarah Gibbes De Saussure Elliott, was the stepmother of CSA Brig-Gen Stephen Elliott Jr having married Gen Elliott's father, Stephen Elliott Sr, after his first wife died. |
