NC958 CSA #11 (AD) (4-Margin) tied by the Tarboro NC CDS with a MAY date. Somewhat green paper cover with a Railroad Address to Mrs. Sarah J. Baker, Fayetteville NC W.R.R. (Western Rairoad) Care N. R. Bryan Jonesboro Care H. H. Harrington. Part of bottom back flap missing, otherwise Very Fine. Ex-Kaufmann, Ex-Hannen CSA Railroad Collection.

The Western Railroad was a short 43 mile line connecting Fayetteville to the coal fields at Egypt (now Cumnock) NC. Jonesboro was a major stop on this railroad. Newton Robinson Bryan (1810-1885) was a prominent merchant in Jonesboro. No information on the other names on the cover.
