Stampless College Postmarked Cover with the small single rim Trinity College NC CDS and handstamp PAID 5(ms) Type A 5(ms) 28 AUG (1861). Trinity College would later become Duke University. Addressed to Miss Nancy A. Morrie, Albemarle NC. Short notation on the front of the cover apparently written by the addressee Nancy A. Morrie Dear Sir I now take my pen in hand to inform you that I am well. Small but complete and very clean cover with a little edge staining at the top right and a little minor edge wear at bottom center. Ex Kohn, Ex Richard Hall College Cover Collection.
