the rate change). Coarse brown paper cover which appears to be homemade
addressed to Hon T. D. McDowell, Elizabethtown NC. Thomas David Smith
McDowell (1823-1989) of Bladen County NC was a planter, legislator, and
Confederate Congressman serving in the First Confederate Congress
1861-1863. Part of top back flap missing and a little lower corner wear, otherwise Very Fine. |
