CSA #11c (AD) Greenish-Blue (4-Margin) tied by the Goldsborough NC CDS 30 OCT (1863). Coarse brown paper cover addressed to Sheriff of Rowan County, Salisbury NC. Original enclosure included which is military voting election results for the congressional election. Three soldiers from Rowan County voted - Mathias Pinkston (Pvt Co D 42nd NC Inf), Levi Bradshaw (Pvt Co D 42nd NC Inf), and J. E. Moore (unit not known). Signed and certified by two officers and an inspector - Capt Dan Cogdell (unit not known), Capt John B. Griswold (50th NC Inf), and Wm H. Woodard Inspector. Very Fine.
