NC763 Soldiers Letter DUE 10 handstamp (two strikes) Type H with the small double circle Raleigh NC CDS (date not fully apparent). All postal markings are in BLACK but the Due 10 handstamp is currently catalog listed only in blue or orange but is illustrated in black. Addressed to Miss Julia Mary Fripp Care Mr. P. M. Morrison, Winnsborough, So. Carolina. Endorsed acrossed the top "Soldiers letter M. J. F. Beaufort V(olunteer) Artillery." The sender was Pvt Milton J. Fripp of  Co C Beaufort SC Light Artillery writing a letter home to his sister. P. M. Morrison mentioned in the address was the Winnsborough CSA postmaster. The cover is also an Adversity Cover made from a printed unused army form. Very Fine. $350.00
