Adversity Cover made from a printed Weight / Cost Mathematical Conversion Table which has been opened for display. Period address to Honbl Wm H. Lyons, Pemberton, Va. Period receiving docketing at the left dates the cover to August 1864. Very clean cover. William H. Lyons (1831-1867) was a judge of the Hustings Court of the City of Richmond. A hustings court, now essentially obsolete, dealt with wills, deeds, and other local matters.
