| KY33 | Handstamp PAID 5(ms) with additional “Paid 5” in manuscript with a partial strike of the Columbus KY small single rim CDS (date not fully apparent). Addressed to Miss Amarila Lemons, Sommerville, Tenn. This is a known correspondence. The cover is from Lieut William R. Lacy of Co C 6th Ten Inf to his cousin. Lieut Lacy was mortally wounded in 1864 during the Atlanta Campaign and did not survive the war. Cover is complete and Very Fine. | $650.00 |
