First Cover -- Atlanta, Ga., Handstamp PAID 5 Provisional CSA #6XU2 dated 22 AUG 1861. Listed in the Crown Census of Atlanta provisional covers. Addressed to Mrs. Emory Winship Macon, Ga. Part of backflap missing and a repaired left upper corner not involving the address or the postal markings. Very clean and attractive cover with full clear strikes of the postal provisional markings.

Second Cover -- CSA #6XU6 Atlanta, Ga., Handstamp PAID 10 stampless Provisional
26 OCT 1861. Listed in the Crown Census of Atlanta provisional covers. Military Address to Capt B. C. Yancey F. D., Cobb’s Geo Legion, Yorktown, Virginia. Minor very light foxing at right, otherwise Very Fine with full strikes of the postal markings. 

Benjamin Cudworth Yancey (1817-1891) was Captain of Co B Cav Btn of Cobb’s Georgia Legion and was later promoted Major and Lt Col but had a relatively undistinguished war career. Before the war, he served in the SC Legislature and was Minister to Argentina under Buchanan.
