CSA #4 Stone 3 Position 14
(margins tight left and bottom) tied by the Big Shanty (Ga) Straight Line
postmark June 22 (1862). Addressed to Col R. D. Winn, Lawrenceville,
Gwinnett Co., Georgia. This is quite a scarce straight line postmark
with perhaps only a dozen or so covers recorded (most with the 5c Blue
Lithograph) recorded by Conrad Bush in the 1990's. A few more covers
have come to light since then. Ex-Bleuler Very Fine.
