CSA #11c (AD) Greenish-Blue (4-Margin but close on the left affixed sideways) tied by the Atlanta, Ga CDS 16 DEC (1863). From the Cobb Correspondence addressed to Mrs. Howell Cobb, Macon, Geo. Minor reduction on the right where opened, otherwise Very Fine. The addressee was the wife of Howell Cobb, a very prominent Georgia politician of the day and a CSA Major-General. But the cover is not from General Cobb. The Cobb Correspondence is quite large and quite well known. But the sender of this cover is not identified.
