Sometime between 13 OCT 2023 and 16 OCT 2023, this cover was stolen by a postal employee while in route from Fort Worth, Texas, to upstate New York. The Priority Certified envelope was opened, the contents removed (this cover was the only item), the envelope re-sealed with a large yellow COVID-19 Test Kit label, and the empty envelope delivered to the addressee. The mail theft was reported in detail to the Postal Inspectors (Case #56332902) who are investigating. An APS / ASDA theft notice also went out to all APS and ASDA member dealers. If anyone spots this cover offered for sale anywhere (on-line such as E-Bay, at a show, in an auction, or in a dealer's stock, etc) please let me know. More than likely the thief will attempt to sell it somewhere (JLK).
