CSA #4b Stone 3 Position 19 (4-Margin Light Milky Blue) tied by a full strike of the Big Shanty (Ga) Straight-Line May 26 (1862). Very probably one of the finest full strikes of the dozen or so known Big Shanty Straight-Line covers. Coarse paper cover addressed to Rev Thomas R. Gary, Saluberta PO, Pickens Dist, So. Ca. Slightly reduced on the left not affecting anything and just a little light foxing. Still a very attractive cover and a significant rarity especially with a full strike of the straight-line postmark.
