Middleton Care of Middleton & Co., Charleston, So. Ca. The Middleton family was a very prominent merchant family in Charleston. Francis Kinloch Middleton (1835-1864), the addressee, while a private in Co K 4th SC Cavalry was killed at the Battle of Haw's Shop (Va) 5/28/1864.  Very clean cover. $100.00
