GA1015 Turned Cover -- 1st Use (inside) CSA #12c (AD) (upper left corner has been nibbled Greenish-Blue) tied by the Washington, Ga (date not apparent) from the Kell Correspondence addressed to Mrs. J. M. Kell Care N. C. Munroe, Macon, Ga. 2nd Use (outside) CSA #12 (AD) (4-Margin) tied by the Atlanta, Ga CDS with a JUL date addressed to Miss E. J. Wray, Washington, Georgia. The addressee of the inside use was the wife of Comdr John M. Kell CSN who was the Executive Officer of the CSS Alabama. However, the address is not in Cmdr Kell’s hand. Very clean cover flapped up from the lower right corner to display both stamps and postmarks.
