(Register of Public Lands), Tallahassee, Florida. This cover is one of 14 listed in the Briggs Census for Houston, Florida. Most are from the Hugh Corley Correspondence. Two of the covers in the census are in the Florida archives which leave only 12 Houston, Florida, covers available to collectors. Of the covers in the Census, only 6 have the postmark and the others are manuscript. This cover is illustrated on Page 97 in Deane Briggs' book on Florida Civil War Postal History.
