CSA #11 (AD) (4-Margin) tied by the Lake City, Fla CDS 14 JUL. Addressed to Miss K. L. Campbell, Madison CH, Florida. Turned Cover with the inside use all in manuscript from Quitman, Ga Jun 28 Paid 10 to Mr. David McMullen, Sanderson, Fla. David J. McMullen (1835-1896) from Brooks County, Ga (Quitman was the Court House of Brooks County) enlisted as a private in Co I 2nd Fla Cav 3/26/1862. Private McMullen took the cover he received from his home town, turned it, and used it to send a letter to his girl friend Keturah Loretta Campbell (1839-1884) in Madison Court House, Florida, whom he married in 1866.  Cover shows edge wear and a little light foxing.
