FL184 CSA #2 Paterson (4-Margin) tied by the Warrington, Fla CDS 17 NOV 1862. Use is well after the fall of the Pensacola-Warrington area to the Union in MAY 1862 and represents use from Pollard, Ala as the Warrington postmaster fled north to Pollard (just across the state line north of Pensacola) where he continued to service army mail using the Warrington, Fla postmark at least into NOV 1863. Small ladies cover with floral "Happiness" embossing around the sides. Addressed to Miss Jane H. Hallman, Jena, Tuscaloosa Co., Ala. Very clean cover and a very nice stamp. Ex Briggs Collection. $1,800.00
