Stampless PAID cover with the Princeton, Ark CDS and handstamp PAID 10 Type A all in GREEN 27 MAR (1862). From the Carroll Hoy & Co New Orleans Correspondence with the usual filing pinholes. This cover is slightly oversized (7 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches). One of only five recorded Princeton, Ark., PAID 10 covers with the postal markings all in green in the Roberts Census of Arkansas covers published in The Confederate Philatelist July-September 2011 issue. Minor vertical file fold and a small part of the top back flap missing, but otherwise a Very Fine appearance. Excellent strikes of the green postal markings. Ex-Boshwit.
