CSA #1 Stone 1 Position 30 USED (margin in a bit at the left but with a small right sheet margin) tied to small piece by the small single rim Loachapoka, Ala CDS (date not apparent). This is a very scarce Alabama postmark and is a listed CSA post office in Macon County. Loachapoka, Ala still exists today as a small town suburb of Auburn, Ala and is now in Lee County. This is the only example of this scarce Confederate Alabama postmark that I have been able to offer for sale. |
