Savannah, Georgia Mid-Year Gathering
11-12 NOV 2011



20 NOV 2011 -- During the weekend of 11-12 NOV 2010, the Confederate Stamp Alliance met in the histori city of Savannah, Georgis for the annual Mid-Year Gathering. Approximately 25 Confederate Stamp Alliance Members and Guests gathered together for the traditional annual Confederate Philatelic Weekend. Hosts for the event were Rich Murphy, Larry Baum, and Jim Monroe.

  • An active trading room composed of major dealers in CSA material.
  • Formal presentation -- "The 21st Century Collector" by Frank Crown.
  • The traditional CSA Hospitality Room throughout the course of the meeting was extremely active.
  • Savannah is a beautiful and very historic city. Many attendees took advantage of the various tours of the city that are offered and also of the many fine eating and drinking establishments in the historic district.

CSA Generals in attendance were Gen Patricia Kaufmann, Gen Frank Crown, Gen John Kimbrough, Gen Conrad Bush, and Gen James Monroe.
