VA916 Three Covers from the same correspondence all with CSA #11(AD) (different shades with margins ample to just touching) and tied to each cover with the Richmond, Va CDS (two different types) (22 NOV, 6 SEP, date not apparent on the other). Covers are light coarse paper and addressed in the same hand to Thos S. Watson Henry Co. H., Va. At the top of one cover in manuscript is the name "Gwatheney's," and the second "Gwatheney's & Watts," and the third "Seargeant and Gwatheney." I believe that this is most likely either a merchant company or perhaps a law firm. One cover with missing backflap only, and all three are very clean and attractive. $250.00
