Cabell, Tye River W(are) House, Nelson County, Va. Joseph C. Cabell (Jr.) (1837-1863) was the 2nd Lieut (later 1st Lieut) of Co G 49th Va Inf.
He was severely wounded at the Battle of Seven Pines but recovered and
rejoined his regiment only to die of disease in November 1863. This
cover dates from the time he was recovering at home from his Seven
