VA2764 CSA #2 Paterson Stone Y (3 large margins but close at the bottom) tied by the BLUE Lynchburg, Va CDS 5 OCT (1862). Light coarse brown paper cover addressed to Mr. A. L. Fogus, Glasgow Station, Amherst, Va. Glasgow Station is a very obscure location (referred to as New Glasgow in Amherst County in the 1862 list of post offices) and was most likely a stop on the Orange and Alexandria Railroad. Very clean cover.$225.00
