Addressed initially to Dr. Horace Taliaferro, Surgeon in Charge of the Hospital at Farmville, Va. and readdressed to Dr. Peyton Grymes, Orange Ct. Ho. (Virginia). Horace Dade Talliaferro was a US Navy Surgeon prior to the war and was the Surgeon in Charge of the military hospital at Farmville from 1862 to the end of the war. Dr. Peyton Grymes of Orange County, Virgina was the father of Dr Talliaferro's wife. Missing backflap, otherwise a very clean cover. Ex-Matz. Molesworth note on the back. $850.00
