CSA #9 T-E-N (4-Margin but close on the left with a very apparent Double Transfer in the lettering of the value table) Pen-Cancel and also tied by period docketing with manuscript “Covesville, Va 6 July 64” at the left (obscure usage from Albemarle County). Addressed to John H. Tyner Esqr Commission Merchant, Lynchburg, Va. Original business letter remains with the cover concerning the estate of a deceased client. Minor ink erosions, otherwise a Very Fine overall appearance and a nice stamp with a scarce Double Transfer.
