| CSA #12 (KB) (4-Margin with usual gum toning) pen-cancel and manuscript “F(orest) Dpt, Va Feb 16 (1865)” at the left. Addressed to Mrs. B. A. Capehart, Kittrells Depot, Granville Co NC. The cover was sent by Capt B. A. Capehart of the 15th NC Cav Battalion to his wife. Just a little edge wear and some very light foxing but still a clean cover and a nice early 1865 usage. |
