Evans Co I 53rd Ga Regt.” Orange paper cover addressed to Mrs. Molie A. Evans, Jackson Butts County, Georgia. John B. Evans enlisted 5/12/1862 and was promoted 1st Lieut 10/15/1863. He served throughout the war surrendering with his unit at Appomattox. Very clean cover and a very decent example of the Brown Gordonsville, Va postmark. $200.00
